Precision CNC Hobbing Machines for Every Production Application
The EP-series CNC hobbing machine range covers the full spectrum of gear hobbing applications — from compact horizontal machines for fine-pitch automotive and precision instrument gears through to large-capacity vertical machines for wind turbine main gearbox planet gears and heavy industrial drive gear sets. Every machine in the range uses direct-drive B-axis hob spindle and C-axis rotary table motors, eliminating the mechanical backlash and speed ripple that limits DIN class in gear-driven alternatives.
All EP-series machines are supplied with FANUC 0i-MF Plus electronic gearbox control as standard, providing full six- or seven-axis synchronisation, parametric gear programming, and rapid variant changeover without physical change gears. Each machine is delivered with a CMM-verified acceptance test gear report against DIN 3962 / DIN 3963 standards. We Configure from Your Gear Drawing, Not from a Standard List
The module range, workpiece diameter, helix angle, material, heat treatment condition, required DIN accuracy class, and annual production volume of your gear all affect which EP-series machine is right for your application — and which options within that machine best match your production targets.
Our application engineers review every enquiry before making a machine recommendation. Share your gear drawing or specification and production requirements via the enquiry page for a no-obligation configuration assessment and commercial proposal.
