All linear axes are verified with laser interferometry for positioning and repeatability accuracy. Our foundry uses precision HT300 high-grade grey cast iron for machine beds, and all mating surfaces undergo hand scraping to maximise contact area and achieve the flatness accuracy that underpins long-term precision stability. Spindle assemblies are balanced using automated dynamic balancing equipment and fitted with precision-grade bearings selected to the specific speed and load requirements of each machine model.
